Endou is a teacher at Riki Naoe's school and the adviser for both the kendo club and the pubic morals committee.

In the anime, he tried to prevent Miyuki Koshiki from committing suicide on the roof, but when he attempted to get closer to her, she fell from the roof and Kengo Miyazawa saved her. Because of this, he prohibited Kengo from participating with all kendo club activities for one semester, which causes Kengo to join the Little Busters baseball team.
